Last night's windstorm caused a power outage affecting the NWCB office in Woodinville. We don't expect to see the power restored until this weekend, so our office will remain closed through the rest of the week. Our staff will be working remotely, and you can reach us via phone and e-mail as normal. Stay safe!
On October 8, the NWCB hosted a special industry celebration at the Elliott Bay Brewing Company in Burien to honor the Washington winners of the 2024 Outstanding Project of the Year awards. The event not only recognized exceptional projects but also celebrated the recipients of the local IUPAT and OPCMIA Mentor of the Year and Apprentice of the Year awards. Thirteen projects from Washington and Oregon were selected for this year's Outstanding Project of the Year Awards. The NWCB announces the winners of the 2023 Outstanding Project of the Awards that the recent Wall and Ceiling Conference in Huntington Beach, California. A total of 16 projects were recognized for interior and exterior finishes on commercial and residential projects, as well as for light-gauge steel framing, suspended ceilings and renovation and restoration work.
